DAVA is a local non-profit arts organization that provides art education programs for urban youth ages ranging from 3 to 17. Due to the company directorial change, they recently realized the importance of marketing. In this project, I worked as an only design intern to present the final deliverables. My responsibility was to design a series of print and digital promotional materials, such as event flyers, social media posters, postcards, programs brochures, and flyers for both English/Spanish languages which will be used in public school systems.
Approach:
My biggest goal was to create a series of design templates that could be reused. My inspiration came from the current logo color, where I wanted to deepen the audience’s brand realization of DAVA by maintaining consistency. It was my second goal to fully reflect the interesting programs offered by the company. In order to achieve this goal, the program manager and I together collected and photographed a large number of activities as the second element of the design.
